Sessions are structured, practical, and focused on relational growth. This is coaching, not therapy.

Coaching does not include diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions. If either partner is currently in crisis or seeking clinical therapy, appropriate referrals will be recommended.
By booking a session, you acknowledge that this service is coaching, not psychotherapy.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged the full session fee.
If one partner is unable to attend, the session will still be charged unless notice is provided within the required timeframe.
Exceptions may be made in cases of true emergency at the discretion of the coach.

Threshold Couples provides coaching services focused on relational growth, emotional regulation, communication skills, and attachment-informed development. Coaching is not psychotherapy and does not include diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions. If clinical care is needed, appropriate referrals will be recommended.
Confidentiality
Sessions are private and confidential. Information shared during coaching will not be disclosed to others without your written permission.
There are limited exceptions. Confidentiality may be broken if there is credible risk of serious harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable person, or if records are required by court order.
Because coaching involves two partners, information shared within sessions is considered part of the joint process. The role of the coach is to remain neutral and not take sides.
Neutrality and Scope
Coaching focuses on patterns, behaviors, and relational dynamics. The coach does not serve as an advocate for one partner over the other and does not provide legal advice, custody evaluations, or expert testimony.
Technology and Virtual Sessions
Sessions are conducted virtually. While secure platforms are used, electronic communication carries inherent risks.
If a technology disruption occurs that prevents completion of a session, the session will be rescheduled at the soonest mutually available time.
Payment and Refund Policy
Sessions are private-pay and payment is required at booking.
If a session is cancelled or rescheduled in accordance with the stated cancellation policy, a refund will be issued within 10 business days.
Late cancellations or missed sessions are charged in full.
Client Responsibility
Coaching is a collaborative process. Progress depends on each partner’s willingness to reflect, take responsibility, and practice new behaviors between sessions.
By scheduling a session, you acknowledge that you understand the nature and scope of coaching services and agree to these terms.

What Happens After Booking
You will receive a confirmation email
You will receive a Doxy video conferencing link which is the same for all sessions.
You will complete a brief intake questionnaire
Your card will be securely stored for future sessions
